Frequently in today’s worship service it is not uncommon for worshippers to stand and sit several times during a typical service. This presents an ever increasing challenge for worshippers as many are either seniors or they experience some form of physical disability. By providing access to an occasional armrest worshippers receive a good measure of assistance.

By adopting the concept of a shared arm, typical within the airline industry, a single set of arm rests, placed between chairs can provide assistance to three guests.

Tip: In setting out chairs (armless...armed…armless) as noted above, upwards of 30 worshippers can be offered assistance with 10 armed chairs.

An Attachable Kneeler has been designed to mount onto each of the SUMMIT Series chairs. The Attachable arm allows the kneeler pad to extend some 13” behind the chair to which it is attached. The added clearance and retractable feature provide comfort and ease of operation for all guests.

Heavier worshippers find that by fully extending the kneeler, they are able to maintain their balance without having to support themselves by holding onto the chair in front as their body weight can be positioned directly above their knees. Shorter worshippers find that by engaging the kneeler with their foot/toe, they no longer have to lean forward to reach the kneeler with their hands.
